Carbonatite is a light gray to yellow igneous rock. It can form as either an intrusive or extrusive rock. Major
minerals include calcite and dolomite. Carbonatite has a fine to
medium-grained texture. This natural rock comes in a cotton specimen collection bag with an information card including
details on the rock formation, characteristics and uses. Specimen size ranges from 1-2 inches.
